Barrel organ

Amsterdam is where you’re most likely to find a barrel organ, but there are plenty of them in other Dutch towns and cities too. The music adds a festive note to the streets of Amsterdam. The organs used to be operated by hand, with a special wheel that had to be turned. Now most of them are machine-driven, giving the organ grinder all the time in the world to collect money from passers by.
